Scripture: Luke 2:4-7

And Joseph also went up from Galilee, out of the city of Nazareth, into Judea, unto the city of David, which is called Bethlehem… To be taxed with Mary his espoused wife, being great with child. And so it was, that, while they were there, the days were accomplished that she should be delivered. And she brought forth her firstborn son, and wrapped him in swaddling clothes, and laid him in a manger; because there was no room for them in the inn.

Advent Gift Idea: Play dough.

#1 Teach: God wants to bless us and so sometimes we might have a tough day. He allows us to experience life so that we can learn and grow. Just like we play with play dough to mold it into a different shape, God teaches us be allowing us to grow.

#2 Application: Play with the play dough and talk about how, if we are humble, that Jesus Christ can help shape and mold us into the person we want to be.

Service Idea: Record your feelings about why the birth of Jesus Christ is so important to you.
