Elder Soares
Day 15 of our 15-Day General Conference Countdown highlights of Elder Ulisses Soares. He is a member of the Quorum of the Twelve Apostles. In order to learn more about Elder Soares we have put together a short intro video. Afterwards, you can continue to play more videos about him in our Playlist.
Watch a Video
We have hand-selected videos about Elder Soares that we feel your children will enjoy. This is a great way for kids to learn about the leaders that will be speaking at General Conference. This playlist is also a great resource for Family Home Evening and to watch on Sundays.

How to Use Printable
Supplies Needed: Dried Beans
Instructions: Print on white cardstock. First, cut out Conference Card and fold in half, then use a glue stick to keep it together so it is a double-sided card. Second, cut out the Speaker Bag tag and attach it to a brown lunch bag with a stapler. Third, cut out the coins with a 1-inch circle hole puncher or with scissors. Cut out the activity. Put a small handful of dried beans into a small ziplock bag. Add the activity card and beans to the speaker bag. You can also add a snack to the bag as well. Instructions are on the card showing how to use the activity.
To reuse your printables, laminate everything but the coins and use dry eraser markers or dry eraser crayons. If you are using a circle punch the lamination will make it to hard to punch through. The Conference Cards can be used by having the child write one word that describes what they learned from the speaker. There is a place that says “He taught me…” There are also some basic facts about the leader and a QR code that you can scan that will go right back to this page so that you always have these resources and so that you can assess the YouTube Playlist!
You can also use the Conference Cards to play guess who. Put all the facts face up and see if your child can figure out from the picture or facts who the person is. We hope these resources help your children come to love the First Presidency and Quorum of the Twelve Apostles.
